My CHA Sweater Vest

I must admit, I was inspired to post this after seeing my friend Amy's cool socks that she made posted on her blog. I actually got to try one of her socks on...very nice! I need to make myself some! Anywho, I started making this on the car ride to Chicago for CHA. I actually knit quite a lot of it during the trip and when I got home couldn't put it down. I had to finish it! Honestly, it was very easy to knit and on fairly large needles so it's supposed to be a quick knit. The pattern and gorgeous yarn came from Briar Rose Fibers. This yarn is hand dyed. Very beautiful and fun to work with. LOVE it!!! Now I just have to wait for fall temperatures to wear it.

I love your vest.
I am looking forward to fall sweater weather.
I must learn how to knit better.
I just started this spring and I have decided that it has a slow learning curve.

Is there no end to your talents?
Well done you!
For some reason, when I knit anything, it always ends up 3 sizes bigger than it should be! This way I suppose Cara could wear something I do when she's 13!
