CHA Summer

CHA was a lot of fun! We were very busy in the Fancy Pants booth. The new Transparent Overlays and Fashion Sense line are brand new for FP and were big hits. And, as always, the paper lines, stamps and chipboard were very popular too. I had so much fun taking orders, meeting new people as well as meeting online friends in person. That is always fun, recognizing someone from their online avatar. Thanks to all who stopped by the booth to say hi. It was so nice to meet everyone!

Amy and I decided to take the train down for the show. We were looking forward to a nice 3 hour ride to chat, knit and read...but, our 3 hour train ride quickly turned into a 5 hour ride...which I guess is not uncommon, but is something we didn't know when we reserved our seats. When we finally did get to Chicago we took the El from downtown to Rosemont. That was cool since I've never taken the El before (I kept thinking of the movie While You Were Sleeping.)

Our trip home was not without drama either. Our 30 minute ride on the El turned into an hour and a half ride because of track work. The trip included riding the El for a bit, getting off the El and onto a bus for a while and then back onto the El. Amy and I had to literally run to catch our train at Union Station. My arm still hurts from dragging my suitcase! LOL! I'm glad it was small. Anyway, we made it to our train and the ride home was on time and smooth. I have to say though, as fun as the train was (LOL!), next time, I'm going to fly or drive. :)

I will leave you with some photos from my trip. I never take enough photos at the show, but here are a few. So, what is your favorite new Fancy Pants product? Let me know. I'd love to hear!
