There is this totally sweet new challenge blog that some of my friends recently started. It is called Method Playground and it is all about scrappy techniques. And, you may have noticed this already, but I love me some cool techniques! I participated in the first challenge to create your own patterned paper. I cheated a bit, you were supposed to use just cardstock. I created my "pattern" on a transparency and layered it over cardstock.
*Note* I had to take this layout down as it will be published in the March 2008 issue of Scrapbook Trends.
I used my children's Spin Art toy, plain transparency and scrapbooking paint to create my patterned overlays. Very easy, and lots of messy fun! Gotta love an artsy mess. Oh, and I should mention, Allan took these totally cool pics while spinning Elijah around. Pretty sweet! The 2nd challenge will be starting soon over at Method Playground. Go check it out and have some fun playing!

Fun, fun FUN!!!! Perfect for technique for those photos.
Ooh, I love that technique! I totally need to get one of those spin art toys (as a scrapbooking tool), LOL! Maybe I'll even let the kids play with it??? Haha!
So fun!!! Neato technique! Love how you did it on a transparency.
I'm still checking your blog! Beautiful work as always!
Today I tagged you on my blog. Hope you don't mind. You can check it out for more info.
