My Project 365

Have you seen the Project 365 challenge at the Creating Keepsakes website? I know there are several versions of this challenge out there and for the past couple of years I've been telling myself I would do it...well, I finally am! Why? Well, everyone does this project for different reasons, but I'm doing it to capture daily moments, learn how to better use my camera, and ultimately, to have fun!

Below are my photos from Day 1 (January 1st) through yesterday. I plan to post my Project 365 photos weekly. I'm excited! I'm determined to complete this challenge, and if you aren't already taking a photo a day, I challenge you to. If you are doing the "photo a day" thing, please post a link to your photos in a comment on this post. I'd love to see your photos!

This is Tommy. His people are my parents, and he is on the deck, outside the kitchen, begging for some of the turkey we are cooking for dinner. Don't worry, he did get some; though, much to his dismay he had to wait way too long for it!

A reminder of my grandmother. This was hers. I want to use it more this year.

Elijah playing a game of Monopoly with his daddy. I'm so glad Allan likes this game because I do not and our children both love it!

My beautiful thread! I just love to stare at it hanging on the wall sometimes. Even more, I love to use it!

There is never enough time! Even so, I'm going to make it a priority this year to make time for what is important.

Miss Moya gave a PowerPoint presentation on Mozart today at school. She rocked! I'm so proud.

I found this pretty drawer pull and fun metal "T" at Hobby Lobby today. I needed a pretty something to cover a hole I made to hang something else, that just didn't look good in that particular spot. I hung it next to some kissy face photos (not pictured) of me and Allan. ;)

This boy has a habit of not finishing his lunch at school, but bringing part of it home to eat after school. I have to say, I'm proud that he actually eats the healthy stuff first and brings home his dessert. Though, it does make it harder to sit still for homework after eating chocolate pudding.

My school memories. I dug this out of the basement for a scrappy project. Elijah found it in my scrap area and loved looking through it. He did say the photos of me look "funny." I guess it is hard for a 6 year old boy to see a photo of his mom as a 6 year old.

Moya is chilling out watching some Saturday morning Hanna Montana after her early basketball camp session.

Well, that's it so far. I'll post another week of photos next weekend! Thanks for stopping by...now go take some photos! :)
