I am honored to be the guest designer over at Kenner Road this month! They always have such lovely kits and I had so much fun with this month's kit, The Collector. Here's what I created.
Photos of Moya and her cousin. Moya is being her cute, expressive self, as usual. The pleated ruffle behind the small photo on top and large photo on the bottom is actually from a small bag that part of the kit came in. I just tore the bag apart, and added some folds to create the pleats.
These photos were taken last month on Valentine's Day. I wrote the words "forever & ever" coming out of the chimney of the house rub-on. The blue, pinked edge, border strips (along the top of the large photo and beside the 2nd smaller photo) are actually pieced together from a ticket I cut apart that was included in the kit.
The elephants from the Sassafrass Lass paper were perfect for this layout about the elephants at the Cleveland Zoo. I simply cut them from the patterned paper and used them as embellishments.
Here I used part of the large paper bag that the entire kit came in on top of the white cardstock for the base of my layout. Isn't that little bird sweet? He sang to us for the longest time!
Thanks for stopping by, and thanks Kerry Lynn for inviting me to be your guest designer!

absolutley beautiful layouts - i love love the last one and how you included the bag on the layout. Fabulous!
Great layouts, and some great ideas of using product others wouldn't think of -ie. the bags.
My favorite is the "Elephants."
