Happy Mother's Day

We celebrated Mother's Day on Saturday with my mom. Here we are at the Tulip Festival. It was so cold! We didn't stay for long. Walked a bit, took a few photos of tulips, got some coffee and then headed to the Holland beach for some fun.

Look at those big waves. I couldn't believe there were people walking out to the lighthouse! It was so cold and the water was splashing up over the pier. We stayed safe and dry on the sand.

Playing on the sand dunes and helping Elijah up the steep slope.

My sweeties at the top of the dune.

Flowers from my sweet Moya and Elijah. I had a lovely Mother's Day and I hope you did too! I have so much to be thankful for. Here is this week's Sunday's Seven:

1. That even though Allan was tired after work he still spent time playing outside with the kids.
2. Mom was able to attend Elijah's spring program.
3. Allan, who helps me out so much!
4. I have two clean desks. They've been piling up after each project since I've been sick...but I finally had the energy to clean them!
5. That Allan's mom has been moved out of ICU and will be okay. (She had some trouble with some of her meds.)
6. Spending time with my family at the Tulip Festival and Holland beach.
7. For my little monkeys, who without them there would be no Mother's Day celebration for me.

Happy Mother's day to all you Mom's, Mommy's, Mama's (you get the idea) out there!

Happy Mother's Day to you too! I am so thankful to be a mom. It was my biggest dream growing up, and God has made it come true! Thanks for sharing your gratefulness. It's contagious.
