Cabled Vest

I haven't completed a knitting project in quite a while. I have actually been working on this vest and another sweater for a couple of years. I go in streaks of knitting during every single free moment I have and then not knitting at all for months. I'm weird that way I guess. Anyway, I was excited to finish this vest last week. I used this Cabled Vest Pattern from Patternworks and Vanna's Choice yarn by Lion Brand in Kelly Green.

It has been cold here this week so I actually wore this vest yesterday. It's really warm and comfortable. I'm sure I'll wear it a lot this winter.

Oh Cindy I love this sweater!!! It has been cold hasn't it! Looked like snow clouds yesterday! Want to teach me how to knit? I really wish I could!

I need to learn how to knit. That is beautifully made!!! Almost done crocheting the scarf for Barak. I'm going to make a matching hat as well. :~) Sooooo much fun to create wearables out of yarn. How many skeins did you have to use -or- ounces?

Cindy, seriously it is beautiful and I can only aspire to be that accomplished of a knitter someday. I am still a hack BUT you and Amy at least got me started!
