Halloween 2009

Elijah was Obi-Wan Kenobi, for the 2nd year in a row. He did add the robe to his ensemble this year. Moya was Cleopatra. She loved wearing all the eye make-up, though her Daddy wasn't too sure about it. ;) We spent the evening at our church's Harvest Fest. The kids had fun playing games and winning lots of candy and prizes. Allan and I had fun catching up with friends that we don't see very often. (Our church has two services and most of our friends attend the 2nd service. We're the odd balls that attend the early morning service.)
We had planned to carve our pumpkins on Halloween but the weather was not cooperating so we decided to wait until Sunday after church. Moya carved her own pumpkin this year and I think she did an excellent job!
Elijah enlisted me to carve his pumpkin for him. He chose the design though. I really wanted to do this cute spider from Family Fun magazine, but I think the Boo! design that Elijah chose turned out fun.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Cute costumes. Did you sew them yourself, or are they store-bought? If you sewed them, where did you get the patterns?

Donna, thanks! The costumes are store bought from Target. Hope that helps.
