Napoleon sweater vest

I finished this sweater vest a few weeks or so ago. I've already had the chance to wear it and I love it! I used the Napoleon pattern from Berroco's Blackstone Tweed #288 pattern booklet. While it looks gorgeous in the Blackstone Tweed yarn I chose Lion Brand's Cotton-Ease in the color Maize. Just to note, the sweater was quite loose around the bottom so I added some thin elastic to the inside. I simply threaded it all the way around through the first row of crochet and hand stitched the ends together to secure.

I'm working on another sweater right now using 4th of July yarn from Briar Rose Fibers. I'm on the final sleeve so I should be done soon! I'll share pics after it's finished.

That is wonderfully cute! I love your pictures in the leaves, too. Makes me want to finish my little man's afghan. I'm just short the edging. I think, LOL!
