Hello everyone! I hope you had a great weekend! We visited the Grand Haven beach on Saturday to catch the
Sand Sculpture Contest. We arrived too late to watch the contestants create, but we did get to see the sand sculptures which was fun! What's not so fun is the massive sunburn I now have. I did actually put sunblock on but missed some spots...now those spots are fried! Will I ever learn?!
I have several Fancy Pants projects to share.
This first one is a mini album that I created for my mother-in-law for Mother's Day. The Fancy Pants
My Family collection and Mixed Media book were perfect for this project. I cut the
Half Bracket Book down to create a narrower album.
For the base of this pendant I used a frame from the Fancy Pants, Artist Edition,
Metal Frame Set 3. I added a rubon to some paper, glued the paper into the frame and added
Glossy Accents over the paper and rubon. Once completely dry I added the pendant to a chain with some matching beads. This was such a fun and easy project...I can't wait to make another one!
Moya, my mom and I went to Mackinac Island last summer for a fun girls getaway weekend. These are some photos I snapped during our trip. I used the Fancy Pants
Road Show collection. The pleated piece is a page from the
Road Show Notebook Journal cut in half lengthwise with pleats folded every 3/4" or so.

About A Girl printed transparency with two shades of green paint to coordinate with my photos better.

Sounds like you're having fun too! I rarely use sunblock because I usually don't really need it due to my darker skin, which causes me to really get sunburnt when I actually do need it once in a blue moon..ouch! :p
Everything is gorgeous! I love that pendant! My sis-in-law just got some Fancy Pants and I told her she needed to check out your blog for inspiration b/c you always do the neatest things w/their products!
