Project Life: Week 11

A little red, white and blue for my week 11 title card on this election day here in the U.S. I'll have to use this color combo when I document the current week (week 45) along with my "I Voted" sticker.

Two 12x12 multi-pocket pages for my week eleven spread.

It's been fun adding food photos to my PL pages. I think it will be interesting to look at in years to come. I wish I would've started documenting our food choices long ago as they've changed a lot over the years. For the better.

Okay, so the note card in the lower left pocket is a scripture that Elijah copied down and gave to me. Allan had given Elijah and Moya verses of encouragement to look up and copy for me to read and meditate on while I was so sick. Well, Elijah copied the wrong verse (I hope!), but I love it because it made me laugh at a time when I really needed a good laugh.

Maybe I should explain the hats my kids are wearing in a few of the photos above. Every year their school has a Vocabulary Hat Parade. Each student chooses a word and decorates a hat to demonstrate their chosen word. This year Elijah chose "build" and Moya chose "Christianity." Moya is always all about creating the items to glue to her hat and Elijah is always all about gluing pre-made items onto a hat and calling it good. Either way it's pretty fun and they always come up with good stuff!

To all my American friends, happy Election Day! If you haven't already, get out there and vote!
