Crocheting Triangles

This morning, I learned that having a chipped tooth filled is just as bad as having a cavity filled...they both require use of that dreadful drill. I also learned that coffee is not nearly as enjoyable when one side of your mouth is numb. I pushed through though, I was too tired not to, and I didn't even spill any on myself. Which honestly, happens more often than I care to admit when my mouth isn't numb.

Okay, onto the whole point of this post.

I'm still working on my hexagon afghan, but I'm just not happy unless I have multiple projects going at once, so I started crocheting these triangles for another afghan. This one is for my son, who has been bugging me for months...okay, more like a couple of years, to make him an afghan. I'm finally being a good mama and making him one. He helped select the pattern and colors - which I love. The pattern is from, Beyond the Square Crochet Motifs. Yarn is Comfy Worsted from Knit Picks.

This is my first time crocheting triangles and I love it! They are definitely a fun shape to make. I'm excited to see this come together...unfortunately, it's never fast enough. I will be making 250 triangles for this project.

Two-hundred, fifty.

I have a ways to go.

Happy Monday!

p.s. I'll post an update once I get a few rows put together.

Those triangles are great! So different, and will be perfect for a boy. Can't wait to see the finished 250!
