Project 365

April 27, 2009

Elijah is holding up his alien story in one hand and his clay alien in his other hand...though it is hard to see. We had fun at the Alien Open House at school.

A sweet, sleeping Elijah.

It was crazy hair day today at school. Elijah went with his hair sticking straight up. Isn't he cute?

My very messy art desk.

May 3, 2009
Elijah is going out to play in the backyard.

May 4, 2009
A little soccer in the backyard.

May 5, 2009
Beautiful, brand new leaves on our Maple tree in the front yard. I love the green!

May 6, 2009
Scary, huh? Like the turquoise retainer?

May 7, 2009
Finally, two clean desks!

May 8, 2009
Allergies.

May 9, 2009
The kids at the Holland beach on top of a sand dune with Lake Michigan in the background.

Homemade cards, chocolate, watching The Sound of Music with my kids and these pretty flowers were all part of my happy Mother's Day.

Some great pics, Cindy. I bet Elijah loved the alien theme to his school open house. Fun Stuff!

Great pictures! I'm doing the Project 365 too and I love your idea about the day/365...very clever. :-)

Can I ask which camera you use? I'm going to buy a new one shortly (only have a point and shoot now) and am a bit confused about what I need and lenses. Also, do you edit your photos to brighten them in Photoshop? They are so vibrant and pretty. What is your technique? Thanks.

Lisa,

I have a Canon Rebel XTi with kit lens (not great) and a 50mm (good for low light). I just lighten/brighten my photos in PSE. Each one is different, you just have to play around to get the results you like. Hope that helps!
