gift idea
I can't believe Christmas is this Friday! December has just flown by for us! How about you? Are you ready for the big day? We celebrated a bit early since we will be with extended family on Christmas day, and this is a gift that the kids and I made for and gave to my husband.
It's a box filled with 365 notes to our hero. Allan can pull a note out each day of the coming year to enjoy.
I decorated a Maya Road chipboard tin with lots of Fancy Pants goodies. I used stickers, papers and ribbon from the Rough and Tough collection. The chipboard, felt and clear accents are also Fancy Pants. The rub-on alphas are from American Crafts and the black chipboard alphas are from BasicGrey.
The kids and I punched circles and squares from patterned paper and wrote a little note on each one. We actually haven't gotten all 365 notes completed yet, but we will before winter break is over. It was such a fun and easy project to make and Allan really loves it!
So if you need another gift for someone special, this is a fun one to make, and really, it would make a great gift any time of the year!
Thanks for stopping by.
