As promised I have another sweater to share with you. I knit this one during the Winter Olympics. It's the U-Neck Vest from the Fall 2004 issue of Knit.1 magazine. I used Patons Classic Wool in Natural and Dark Grey. It turned out okay. I wish I would've went down one more needle size for the ribbing. I've worn it a couple times and like it, but the ribbing at the bottom stretches out of shape a bit.
I mentioned in a previous post that I had a "new do." It actually doesn't look a whole lot different in this photo because my hair is so dark, but it is shorter and layered. Since November I've went from long and layered to an angled bob to shorter and layered. I should probably have Allan take a new photo of me for my online profile pic, but by the time we get around to it, my hair will probably be long again! :-)
I created this layout of my son enjoying a popsicle for the Fancy Pants blog, where you can check out the layout details as well as see a layout by Anne Jo Lexander using the same collection.

I love the vest Cindy! Cute, cute, cute!
I love that vest! It's cute and very hip! And the layout is great of course too. I went to open knitting today and cast on for a baby blanket. Crossing my fingers it doesn't take too long! Glad you're back! I've missed the inspiration!
As always Cindy the sweater is quite lovely and the layout is as cute as ever. Gotta love an orange mouth. LOL
Great layout and vest! Looks like Elijah's favorite color is orange.?.
