Moya's hat

After knitting Elijah's Skull Hat I decided to make Moya a new one too. She loves wearing knit hats...indoors, outdoors, it doesn't matter. She has quite a collection that I've knit for her over the past few years. I made this one to match the new winter coat I picked up for her for next year. The yarn is Fourth of July from Briar Rose Fibers. The green colorway is some of the leftovers from my Hypatia sweater. The blue is leftover from a sweater I knit quite a while ago. The pattern for this hat comes from The Yarn Girls' Knits for Older Kids. It's a very simple knit 1, purl 1 rib pattern.

I mentioned in my Hypatia sweater post that I wouldn't be sharing anymore sweaters for a while...well, I had forgotten about the one I knit during the first week of the Winter Olympics. I had Allan snap a photo of it Sunday which I'll share with you next week.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Wednesday!

Wow, you really have been churning out some awesome knits Cindy. They are all great! I need to knit the boys some new beanies this winter. I have just started a pair of Jaywalker socks, and they are knitting up gorgeously!! Keep well.

Nice hat! Moya is looking more grown up all the time. Maybe my kida are too? Mine just seem to get taller. =)
