I have some more layouts to share that were published in Creating Keepsakes magazine. These are just a few from the March/April and May/June 2010 issues. If you want to see more of my published work you can check out my gallery at Club CK, and if you're not signed up there yet, you should check it out. It's a really fun site with lots of fun stuff to participate in going on all the time. Plus the CK editors browse the gallery there looking for layouts to highlight on their blog and even publish in the magazine!

Deer Ranch was in the CK Shows You How column on using Spray Ink. I drew the large leaves you see on the left side of my layout using a white gel pen on cream paper. Once dry I spritzed over my drawing with Glimmer Mist and then took a cotton swab and traced over the drawing to remove the ink. The result is a fun resist effect. The photos are of Moya, my mom and I at the Deer Ranch in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Hands On was published in the Scrapbook Your Life feature. Photos are from a trip that my mom, daughter and I took to Cleveland. Here my mom and daughter are having fun at the Great Lakes Science Center.

Tween 'Do was featured in the Tips & Tricks column. I divided up my photos with lines of machine stitching. I also used some kitchen foil to create a border strip. I used the foil to complement the photos of my daughter getting foils put into her hair.

10 Candles was published in the Fabulous Flowers Techniques feature. I created my flowers with cupcake liners. You can get the how to from the CK blog. I also adhered the actual candles from my daughter's birthday cupcakes right onto my page. I love it when I can include ephemera from the event I'm scrapping. If you do include candles on a page be sure to use strong liquid adhesive.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!
