I started out making this for myself to use in my studio, but Moya loved it so much that I decided it should be hers. She uses it on her bed now every night. Sweet. Very, very sweet. It feels good when you know the items you've hand crafted are being put to good use. :-)
I used lots of leftover yarn for this one along with pattern blocks from one of my favorite crochet books, 200 Crochet Blocks. I've started another one for my studio with a black background and a variety of granny squares. I think it will look pretty cool when finished. Stay tuned, though it may be a while before I finish. Life has been busy lately...and the weather has been lovely! Not much fun staying inside to crochet when the sun is shining.
Have a fabulous weekend all, and Happy 4th to all of my friends in the U.S.!

Oh mY goodness! I love it! It is SO Moya! She is the luckiest girl to have a mama like you!
That is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!!! I still have to finish the afghan I started crocheting for my mom. It's taking forever mostly because I haven't picked it up in months. I'm going to have to pick up a copy of that book. You're making granny squares chic again!!!! It's inspiring. Love you Cindy!!!!
Oooh, I love this! I don't crochet, but this is the kind of project that makes me wish I did! Just lovely!
