Farewell summer!

Happy Labor Day to all my U.S. friends! Today is Moya and Elijah's last day of summer, as a new school year starts for them tomorrow. I think we're all looking forward to returning to the routine of the school year, but unfortunately that usually only lasts about a week or so! Early mornings are not my friend. As a matter of fact, we're more like sworn enemies. I've been hoping that as I get older I'll become a morning person...that hope is fading fast.

I've been having fun making some back-to-school projects the past couple of weeks. Today I'm sharing one that I made for Fancy Pants. This photo is a little sneak peek of my project. You can see the entire project along with instructions on how to make it over on the Fancy Pants blog. I'll share some more back-to-school projects here in the next week or two.

Well, I'm off to do some parent homework. I have a pile of papers to read and forms to fill out before school starts tomorrow. Procrastination much? Isn't it funny that as kids we thought the homework would end when we were done with our education...oh well, at least I'm not getting graded on it!
