Today is officially my final day on the American Crafts design team. It was a really tough decision not to reapply, but with my health issues I know it was the right choice for me. I've loved being on the AC team and will miss it, along with the awesome product boxes! Love their products. So, these are my final AC projects to share. Although you will definitely continue to see AC products in my scrapbooking.
We've been fairly healthy eaters for years, but my recent health problems have caused us to clean up our eating even more. We are eating a lot more veggies, fruits and poultry - natural or organic and non GMO as much as possible - and much fewer grains, no diary and no gluten along with several other "no's" for me because of new food allergies. It was tough at first. Especially for Elijah, he has never been a fan of veggies, but since they are now the star of our meals, he has learned to like many more veggies than he did before. This layout highlights some of our current favorite meals. I haven't created many food focused layouts, but food is such a big part of our lives, why not document it? I plan to do just that in my Project Life album.
For this layout, I used a combination of new and old AC products:
I cut mats from 6x6 papers to frame the 2x3 photos on this layout - the smaller patterns are perfect for small photos because they don't overwhelm them like a 12x12 pattern might.
I used washi tape from Amy Tangerine's original AC collection behind the above photo. Washi tape really makes a great photo mat. I also added some wax paper behind a couple of my photos. I love the look and touch of "kitchen" that it adds to my layout.
My hubby turned 43 this summer and this is the card I made for him. I used pretty much all Amy Tangerine products. You can find product specifics here.
Happy Friday!
