Saying good-bye is sometimes easy and sometimes hard. This one is definitely hard. I've been blessed with two amazing years on the AC design team and I've loved every second of it! I will miss working for this wonderful company and with such talented designers.
For those of you that may be starting the hop here, we are each sharing our favorite creations for AC made during our 2011-2012 term. I narrowed mine down to the following four. I know, "top three" sounds better - but I love all four of these...and don't you always feel bad for the one who comes in fourth place just out of the spotlight? So here they are, my four faves.
Photos showing my children working together are always special to me. I had so much fun stitching the large heart and embellishing this page was so easy with the Dear Lizzy Neapolitan collection. I normally shy away from working with soft colors, but the fun patterns and bold pops of color make this one of my favorite AC collections.
I mixed Shoreline, Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook, and Dear Lizzy's Neapolitan for this layout. I love how the colors and patterns from the various collections mix together so well. You can find a full list of products used here. I had lots of fun with the stitching and paint.
I LOVE Thickers. As you can see I didn't hold back on using them for this layout either. I really had fun creating this layout for my mom. You can get more details here.
And finally "Blue Hair." Amy Tangerine's Sketchbook collection was a perfect fit for this page about hair color. The watercolor look compliments my daughter's photo beautifully.

I don't think I would have made such a long title with so many thickers, but seeing your layout (and I feel the exact same way about my mom) has made me feel braver. We have a family story about blue hair from when I was little, so that made me laugh! (involves "old" ladies in an elevator and my big 4 y.o. mouth)
