Project Life 2012: Week 27

Week twenty-seven consists of two 12x12 multi-pocket pages.

I chose a patriotic color scheme since the fourth of July falls within week twenty-seven.

I love the top right photo that Allan took of Elijah and me sorting yarn from his latch hook kit. The perspective from above is nice. Moya and Elijah both were introduced to this fun craft last summer and just had to have their own kit to complete...are they completed? Nope. But, they had fun with them for a couple weeks anyway.

In case you can't read the journaling, last summer was crazy hot and our air conditioning had a hard time keeping things cool upstairs. So, we ended up camping out in the living room several nights. Anything to get some sleep in that crazy heat! I'm hoping for a milder summer this year. Camping out was kind of fun...but I like sleeping in my own bed.

p.s. For those wondering why on earth I'm posting 2012 Project Life pages in 2013...I got a little, okay, WAY behind because of an illness last year, and well, I'm too stubborn to give up on completing my 2012 album.

Great pages,Cindy! I love all the washi tape, the face sketches, and the mattresses in the living room. You do what you have to to be comfortable in the heat we had last summer.
