Project Life 2012: Week 38

Week thirty-eight consists of two 12x12 multi-pocket pages and one 8.5x11 insert.

The yellow and green are a bit summery for week thirty-eight, but I like the color combo with this week's photos and ephemera. That's Elijah in the lower right photo sitting on the front of the fire truck. His scout troop met there for sail boat racing. Elijah won all of his races - they powered their boats by blowing on the sails. Pretty cool and lots of fun.

The 8.5xll insert holds some of Elijah's school work and notes of affirmation from his classmates and teacher. Since they are all smaller pieces of paper I decided to adhere them to patterned paper.

Top left photo - Moya got to meet Olympian, 5000m runner, Kim Conley at our favorite athletic shoe store. Moya was so excited! The bottom right pocket is filled with a bit of packaging from a new skillet that I bought at our local health food store.

That arrow is actually a sticky note. It came in a package containing several different colors and I found them at Target. That store always has something fun in their office supply aisles! And that's why I usually try to avoid them. ;-)

My current favorite gum. No sugar. No artificial sweeteners, and I love the lemon-lime flavor! Yummy!

p.s. For those wondering why on earth I'm posting 2012 Project Life pages in 2013...I got a little, okay, WAY behind because of an illness last year, and well, I'm too stubborn to give up on completing my 2012 album.
