Project Life 2012: Week 22

Week twenty-two starts with a 6x12 multi-pocket insert.

I still love including a large photo here and there. I really should do this more. I love the impact a larger photo makes. This one is actually best at a larger size - the helicopter is much easier to see printed larger.

The back of the insert is the program for Moya and Elijah's piano recital.

To end the week, one 12x12 multi-pocket page. The sheet music washi tape on the lower left photo started out a cream color. I changed it to yellow with a Faber-Castell gelato and a wash of water. The gelatos are a really great way to get a transparent wash of color. First, color onto your surface with the gelato. Then use a brush loaded with water over the top of the color to blend. Easy.

p.s. For those wondering why on earth I'm posting 2012 Project Life pages in 2013...I got a little, okay, WAY behind because of an illness last year, and well, I'm too stubborn to give up on completing my 2012 album.
